What inspires you the most?Β I love how challenging windsurfing is. There are so many components including tactics, technique and physical fitness that make it both mentally and physically taxing. There is always something to improve which is what inspires me to keep training and competing. I love the feeling of being outdoors and especially on the water.
5 things you canβt live without? Noise cancelling headphones, yoga pants, foam roller, a smile.
What was your childhood ambition? Surprisingly I was a very unathletic child but I was driven to excellence in my academics and other extra-curricular activities. I never would have imagined I would become an Olympic athlete.
