FRAME
The FLO is unsinkable, strapless & light-weight and is the perfect companion for light wind watersports including SUP, sailing, foiling and fishing.
The frame is constructed using Grilamid TR90 – a virtually indestructible thermoplastic nylon that is flexible and incredibly strong. This material absorbs and spreads impact force and then returns to its original shape.
The frame also relies on our FLOT8™ floating frame technology, so unlike the Surge and Typhoon, there is no leash system included.
LENSES
All LiP Sunglasses lenses and lenses by ZEISS are designed and tested under rigorous conditions to ensure they meet regulatory standards around the world, including ANSI (United States), EN-ISO (Europe) and AS/NZS (Australia / New Zealand). This testing includes high velocity mass impact testing.
All lenses (regardless of the Lens Series or function) are guaranteed to filter out harmful UVA and UVB rays. Except for lenses with an anti-fog coating , all lenses have hydrophobic, oleophobic and hard coatings on both front and rear lens surfaces. For lenses that are polarized, the polarization achieved is 98-99%.

Alexander Smirnov (Ramat Gan, IL) These are best sunglasses for windsurfing and for casual use on shore. Have all models and keep buying more 😉

Jakub S. (Stockholm, SE) Great sunglasses. Love the lenses, love the color and floating :) Makes it easier to find in case one ends up in the water :)
J
Jose I Urdaneta I found them to be strong and light, difficult to find both features at the same time in a sunglass. My first experience with their quality was when I was playing beach tennis and the sunglasses fell off my head into the sand, and nothing happened. I purchased the silver mirror non-polarised lenses because I am planning to wear them on my ski trip in February, so I will keep you posted on how it goes.
R
Rainer Allmaa I like lip sunglasses, I have 4 different shades from lip now. The best sunglasses that I ever had
J
Jim Flo is light weight and floats on water. I use it even not during water sport with great sunlight filtration
J
Jesse The lenses are amazing. I got the non polarized lenses with the most transmissible light that you offered and they do not disappoint. So far, the hydrophobic coating is awesome as well. The optics of the lens itself is as good or better than many other sunglasses I have owned including Oakley, Ray Ban, and Maui Jim. The only lens Ive ever had a chance to try that I was equally impressed by is the Smith lens that goes for 250+.
